Ja’Van & LaRissa Johnson are born-again believers who seek to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since the beginning of their long-distance courtship in 2017, they've enjoyed color-coordinating their outfits and wearing matching shirts. 

Once married in 2018, their appreciation for coordinating only grew stronger. In 2019, they released their first shoe design, "Johnson Team", and they launched the Johnson Team Apparel clothing line. 

In 2021 they had a homebirth and celebrated the arrival of their first-born daughter. Three years later, they had a waterbirth in their home and celebrated the addition of their newest family member, their son.

 The Johnson Team has a passion and a heart for Christ-centered family and God-honoring family life. In 2025 they released their newest merch collection called The Uprising.
